Things to think about when you make a booking:
Please let us know if you need to take a carer with you as scheduling is arranged according to vehicle seating capacity. One carer may travel with you at no cost.
Bookings for out of area transport fill early, and you may need to share a vehicle with others. Extra time is allocated on longer trips to ensure punctuality to your appointment and the comfort of both driver and passengers. Sometimes transport cannot be provided, due to time constraints and vehicle availability. If you can get your appointments between 11am and 1pm that is perfect to allow us time to get you there and home again, however even outside this timeframe we will try and assist.
If you are undergoing a procedure that takes three or more hours, day surgery or a hospital pre-admission, our driver may be unable to wait and you may need to organise overnight accommodation in the area of your appointment. A return trip may be arranged for the next day.
We have an answering machine which will record messages if you need to contact the office after business hours to cancel or change a booking. Messages left on the answering machine are addressed as soon as staff members are available.
